Cast by hand from English earthenware clay by Poole Pottery - one of Britain's oldest working potteries, making ceramics in Dorset since 1873 - and finished in a cobalt blue glaze that doesn't ask permission to be noticed. The colour is the point. Deep, saturated, the kind of blue that anchors a surface and draws the eye without demanding it.
